I told my Mother that if bush co. were to win the 2004 election, the war drums with Iraq would begin sounding soon after. She did not believe me. NOw she does.

2. OOps. Somehow I made a mistake.

I meant to post this as a reply under Bucky's thread, "Asking my MIPHOPer friends: Why did they frame Al Qaeda and not Iraq?" I didn't mean to start a new thread. If anyone knows how to delete this and move it under Bucky's post, I would be quite grateful.

I'm still pretty new to DU, so I guess my inexperience is showing. (Thanks for the welcome, Make7!)

I actually didn't know what PNAC position was on China, but I don't really think it matters. There is absolutely no way that the US Government is going to exert undue pressure on China. We're too economically co-dependent, and if it came to a military confrontation, the US would most likely lose in face-off with China on their soil. Unless they resorted to nuclear weapons - which is not even a possibility.

if you copy the "div class" command into your post, you can make the boxes.

You can do big colored fonts and stufftoo! !!!!!!

But the borders of your boxes have colors and they all looked uniform. I figured there was some other undocumented "quote" class you were using, but I guess you were doing it all manually.

You can just copy the code above and use it if you want. It might be a good idea to save it as a little txt document so you can just copy and paste it into future posts.

I took the DU html lookup table and saved it to my hard drive, and then I added my own stuff. I keep it open in another window when posting so that I can just copy and paste the basic code and then put new text in it.

there's an extension called BBCode that includes common codes and allows you to make your own custom tags eliminating the need for a separate file to copy and paste from. Just right click and choose your custom tag from the context menu.
