We did it! We collected nearly 1,000 more petitions than the 4,611 needed to get on the ballot. The official tally from the state isn't in yet, but we exceeded the target by such a wide margin that we can safely say that we are on the ballot!

We could not have done it without YOU. I want to thank each and every one of you - every resident that signed a ballot petition and every one of our selfless, tireless volunteers. We could not have reached this milestone without your support.

Now the real campaign begins. We need to get our message to every voter in our district: Health care for every citizen, financial security for American families, and an end to the Iraq war. It's going to take time, money, and most of all, it's going to take dedicated volunteers...
