Did anyone watch the show on the National Geogrpahic channel last night

about the 1906 earthquake in San Francisco?

Toward the end of the show they talked about the cover up that involved politicians, business leaders and "even" the local newspapers. Because the power that be (or were) in San Francisco fear of another earthquake would scare businesses away, the word was put out that most the damage was caused by the fires, not by the quake itself. Pictures were touched up to look more like fire damage rather than quake damage and ariticles stuck to stories about the fires.

As I watched that, I could only think that, had there been an internet back then, there would have been a "San Francisco Quake" forum and any of us who doubted the official word about fire damage would have been called "conspiracy theorists".

I hope we don't have to wait 100 years before there are programs that mention the 9/11 cover up (though I've been waiting more than 42 years to hear that about JFK's murder so I don't have a lot of hope.)

2. It's only "mainstream" when the real guilty parties are dead.

To many of the powerful American men behind the JFK assasination are still alive for the "mainstream" media to touch the truth on this issue.

Only when the powerful criminals are already dead so no one can be held responsible, will the U.S. corporate media disclose the truth.
