Will Bush try to use Egypt attacks for political advantage tonight?
I think he will. I'm not sure how but I hope that Kerry is ready to turn it around on him. I think that if Kerry can call it an 'alqaeda like' attack, he can at some point reiterate that the Iraq invasion took resources away from fighting the WOT. I suspect that Bush will try to make the case that the attacks in Egypt somehow justify our actions in Iraq because it's the central point in the WOT.

9. I might be overly cynical, but I can just picture Rove smiling at the news
It diverts some of the attention away from all the bad news out of Iraq.

5. How can you argue that the world is safer when this happens regularly?
We had bombings in France, Egypt and Iraq yesterday. Bush's world is safer because they keep the world away from him. It's not safer for anyone else.

6. I hope Kerry responds with...
"Mr. President, if you are so worried about defending this nation, why did you threaten to veto the version of the defense appropriations bill that delayed the closing of MORE military bases right here in the U.S.?

"Wouldn't it be a good idea to keep these bases open at least two more years? Do you realize that closing these bases will not only reduce our readiness at home, but it will also be economically devastating to the communities where these bases are located?"

http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20041008/ap_on_go_co/defense_bill_1

"And Mr. President, if you're doing such a bang-up job fighting terrorism, why was Al Quaeda able to conduct such bombings?"

8. Hope he does!
All Kerry have to do is to claim that this attack and the rest of the upcoming attacks (because there will be more) is the result of the current administrations policies which creates new terrorists by the hour.

11. Town Hall is a Mix of Domestic and Foreign Policy - a free for all
Last debate is domestic issues, this one is whatever topic the audience questioners want to cover.
