What station should I tape???
I have to work tonight. I watched C-SPAN for the first debate, and I loved that they split-screened the whole thing, but when I taped them for the VP debate, they started late and didn't split screen any of it. I'm not sure if the townhall format even lends itself to the split-screen approach, in which case it might not matter, but I want the best coverage when I watch later tonight.

2. the C-SPAN coverage
last time was pre-empted because the House session ran long. Now how the hell did that happen???

C-SPAN 2 covered it split screen the entire time.

I have to go to a wake tonight, though we're hoping to get home before the debate. I think I'm setting one vcr for C-SPAN and one for C-SPAN2.

4. Either CSPAN or CSPAN-2
One or the other will cover it in split screen.

5. I'm watching and recording CBS
as a show of support, because their post-debate analysis is better, and they also showed the split screen most of the time in the first two debates.

7. ABC News Now
Just cause I can???

They're doing split screen too and then I really like their no-frills flavor. Kinda like CNN waaaaaay back when.
