It's assumed that the media is "liberal" so even the reporters who aren't skew towards the right to blunt criticism from the well-organized conservative cabal. They are petrified about losing what's left of their access to our hermit of a president and assume that if Kerry wins, he'll be much more open no matter how unfair he feels he's treated -- so they can afford to fuck over Kerry.
