Bush "you can run but you can't hide"
Is anyone else extremely disconcerted by President Bush's new campaign slogan for Kerry "you can run but you can't hide"?. It is very scary to hear a president use the same threatening rhetoric on his own people that he uses for terrorists. I did not know when he stated "you are either for us or against us" this also covered opionions about his administration. His anger during the debates when anyone challenged him was evident and even extended to the moderator who he angrily ignored if he got in the way. A president who believes he is above the rules and refuses to be truthful with the American people and equates political opponents with terrorism is the greatest threat to true democracy.

Also he has been saying this about Al Queda and Bin Laden - both who appear to be doing quite well and avoiding capture.

Whats with this gunslinger mentality and rhetoric?

9. Run from me, shame on you
do it a third time and shame on me while cheney has never hid from anyone in any undisclosed bunker. I never made a mistake while you are running, and shame on me for thinking you might not hide.

I just got hired to write speechs for bush.

12. How about "were you hiding from the Nat'l Guard"; that
would put an end to this stupid slogan.

3. everyone saw, Kerry wasn't hiding
Kerry was facing Bush at that debate, standing right at the line.

Bush was the one running away from Kerry all night. Literally keeping his distance from Kerry.

14. * was also running from the camera
Did anyone else notice that when * was answering a question, he would almost invariably turn away from the camera that was on like he couldn't trust himself to keep his facial muscles in check. Bad enough that the 200 people in the room see you smirk, but not the millions watching on TV. I figure his handlers probably gave him that little tip.

6. * is running and hiding from his annual physical
Deja vue all over again. He obviously had something to hide from the Air Guard in 72, now he has something to hide from the american people.

I'd like to see the Senator call him out and invite him to go to Bethesda at the same time and they both get physicals on the same day. Lets see who would run and hide.

7. Rove has sold America a bill of shit when he pushed Bush into our
lives. Bush is not what was promised. He is simply not a good president and because he don read, never will be.

Reduced to childish scare tatics Bush shows his immature colors. Only his base will fall for it.

Fence sitters are more careful and they wait... now they see the real president....as a nutcase...and they will go for Kerry in the higher ratio.

13. Oh please, who's the one that ran and hid on 9-11?
The only one that runs and hides is AWOL Bush. That is what he has done his whole life.

Kerry has never run from anything.

On 9-11, when everyone was heading for undisclosed locations, Kerry went back to his Senate office to make sure his staff was okay. That's the kind of man Kerry is.

15. Cable "news" plays this over and over. I was flipping through channels
this AM and last night, and they are really pushing this. I noticed they will show Bush* including his voice mocking Kerry at the campaign stops but only short clips (usually no sound) of Kerry-Edwards.

We pursued Al Qaida wherever Al Qaida tries to hide. Seventy-five percent of known Al Qaida leaders have been brought to justice. The rest of them know we're after them.

CHIMP ON KERRY

October 8, 2004

Yes, I mean, he's got a record. It's been there for 20 years. You can run, but you can't hide. He voted 98 times to raise taxes. I mean, these aren't make-up figures
