1. I don't know about the 527's but SBC says this show is news.

I heard this from the Sinclair rep that was on CNN last night. He said this show has newsworthy content and the public needs to know.

4. "Newsworth Content" - Slanderous Bombshell

No one I've seen or read has previewed this "special" to see if it is "newsworthy". If this is the case, surely Sinclair would submit it to a third party like FactCheck.org (while I don't trust Brooks Jackson) or some true honest broker, and let them decide. Then they should give a copy to the Kerry campaign so they can address any charges made in this "program" that is deemed credible.

kinda like saying the ocean is dry in my opinion. i'm hoping kerry can get a bunch of lawyers on this. there must be something that can be done to stop it until after the election.

Sinclair will argue freedom of speech, and there's not enough time to fight it out.

I'm going to continue to fight it, but I heard most of Sinclair affiliates are FOX stations. I suspect if this thing is aired, the people who will watch it are already shrub supporters, and will just find justification in their opinions. Kerry supporters won't watch it, and I believe there are very very few undecideds now. On one hand, I think this whole argument should die on the vine. All it's doing is promoting the awareness of Sinclair. On the other hand, if noone fights it, it would appear that people don't care.
