WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush has bounced back into a tie with Democratic challenger John Kerry one day before their final debate, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll.
Bush gained three points on the Massachusetts senator to move into a 45-45 percent dead heat in the latest three-day tracking poll of the White House campaign, published on Tuesday.

(CBS) The contest for the White House continues to be razor-close. A CBS News poll of likely voters nationwide shows President Bush has a narrow edge over Senator John Kerry - but his 48% to 45% lead is within the poll's margin of error. Ralph Nader grabs 2% in this latest survey, which found that if Nader were not in the race, the split would be 48% for Bush and 47% for Kerry.
The second debate appears to have had little impact on the horse race between the Democratic and Republican candidates, though voters again said John Kerry did the better job in the debate. After the first debate October 8, Kerry came back from a nine-point deficit to tie the race at 47% for each candidate and 1% for Nader.
