Poll question: Clark Supporters: do you want Kerry to drop out and endorse the Gen?

Kerry will finish third in New Hampshire. An embarrassment of gigantic proportions for someone from Massachusettes. No one from Massachusettes has ever lost the New Hampshire primary, never mind come in third.

But latest polls have Clark trailing Dean only 9%. Kerry's support is still at about 13%. If Kerry really believes that Dean can't win...blah, blah, blah, should he drop out and endorse Clark?

If Dean stumbles in Iowa and Clark wins New Hampshire. Dean's candidacy is dead in the water.

Listen the purpose of the first couple of primaries is always to weed out the long list of candidates.

Usually two or three candidates emerge after New Hampshire.

Kerry won't win South Carolina or any of those primaries.

So what will he do just hang around as a third wheel no one will vote for?

My bet, if he loses New Hampshire, he's toast.

they all have something to contribute. Kerry should stay in and keep fighting. If he gets the nomination, he'd be a great President. Same with Edwards, Dean, Gephardt and Kucinich.

Sharpton and Mosely-Braun have good input at the debates, but won't win the nomination. Lieberman would be a long-shot for the nomination, but would be soundly defeated by Bush. So these three are who I'm hoping will drop out after Iowa or NH.

to think that Clark is a better candidate than Kerry is. Although I disagree with Kerry on plenty of issues, he's a far better candidate than Clark could ever hope to be. And he has an actual record to look at and wouldn't be caught dead fundraising for Bush and Cheney. I'm stating my opinion that Clark sucks as a candidate. Between his PNAC connections, support for the School of the Americas and his fundraising and praise for Bush and Cheney...he sucks elephant ass. While I don't like Kerry and he's not anywhere near my first choice, he's a hell of a lot better than Clark could ever hope to be, and by God his record at least proves beyond a reasonable doubt that he is, in fact, a Democrat. Sure, he made some shitty votes, but he's still a proven Democrat, not just an opportunistic Johnny Come Lately.
