A REAL Fox headline: "Cheney Says Jobs Are Answer to Poverty"
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,135588,00.html

BERRIEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Vice President Dick Cheney (search), asked Friday what he and President Bush would do to help the working poor, said "the best solution for poverty is a job" and contended their tax policies would help small businesses create more of them.

"What most people want is a good-paying job that will allow them to take care of their families," Cheney said during a campaign stop at a restaurant.

The question came from Cyndi Sanders, who lives in Benton Harbor, an impoverished community along Lake Michigan. Benton Harbor was devastated by two nights of rioting last year after a black motorcyclist died during a high-speed police chase. The rioting and public outcry that followed highlighted its struggling economy.

Cheney said he and Bush would help small businesses create jobs by keeping down taxes and offering tax breaks for businesses that would offer their employees catastrophic health insurance.

4. 'Sneer' doesn't have sympathy for those without jobs...
Based on his profile, I have no doubt he would look at a starving community in Africa and say, "Why don't they all just get a job?"

6. Not if the jobs are
Minimum wage jobs. Hey Dumb ass Dick don't you know if your job only pays minimum wage then you would still be in Poverty.

Listening to Bush in last debate this is what I concluded. If I am on minimum wage they will not increase it. Then I would go to community college to get higher 21st centuary job training which I would have to get student loan for. Then I do get a job in 21st centuary which would pay higher then Minimum wage. My job will then get outsourced. So to pay off my student loan I would take a minimum wage job.

So Now I am an educated minimum wage earner with debt. I am sure better off now then 4 more years of these crapy admin and it's neocon plans.

7. NCLB?
YOu mean that this is what they want instead of a fill in the dot test?

"What most people want is a good-paying job that will allow them to take care of their families," Cheney said

12. Of course, he didn't answer the question
which was about how to help the working poor, who presumably, by that definition, already have jobs.
