Halliburton Political Donations 2000-2004 (Board of Directors)
I went to http://halliburton.com/about/board_of_dir.jsp to look up Halliburton's board of directors and they went to http://opensecrets.org to check their donations. It is pretty much what you would expect.

1. Well I would say...
The got one hell of a return on their investment. Too bad it's at the expense of the American taxpayer.

4. To be honest. . .
. . .he only got $2,000 from Crandall. . .I don't think its a big deal. It did peak my curiosity. I am sure as the 2003 numbers come in we may find that other Dems got money from this group.

6. I don't think it's a big deal, either...
I just commented on it because Clark detractors love to tie Clark with any number of corporations because of loose associations.

But, because I'm not a marxist, I have no problems with it.

I'm just saying...

5. It's been known for MONTHS that...
... ONE director, Mr. Crandall, has given Dean money.

Nothing to see here...

7. Well there is a lot to see. . .
. . .but not as it relates to Dean. Its the ROI that Halliburton has gotten from Bush and the GOP!

11. So am I, and that's what bugs me about certain posts.
Not saying this one, but in general. The glee with which some supporters brandish some little factoid around like it was *'s head on a pike annoy me, frankly, because the factoid is just that--- a factoid--- and it only serves to encourage the other candidate's supporters to go out and do the same thing.

12. As a Clark supporter I don't mind it. . .
. . .General Clark, as well as other candidates, has receive a lot of scrutiny and its just part of the job. We should be careful to be unfair to other Democrats however we need to them to be able to stand up to scrutiny.

Because he tought Dean would be the easiest to beat.
