7. No problem.
Have you saw or heard his past 7 or 8 speeches? He is truly brilliant! He is the best speaker in our party in terms of passion and truth.

14. I love Al Gore
And I live in Tennessee

Al Gore was my first political crush - and still resides near and dear to my heart.
Jokes aside - he's a brilliant, funny and sweet man.
You GO Al! I'm behind you 110 percent!

20. Al Gore reminds me of how he was in 92 again . . .
when his speeches were lively and animated. Great scene of part of one of his '92 speeches in "The War Room".

5. Why would he say this in advance?
Now Rove has all day tomorrow to think of a distraction.

$100,000 bucks say that the terror alerts go up or the nationa RNC is robbed on Monday morning.

Man, we just don't seem to get it!

"will Present Evidence Bush Intentionally Deceived the American People"

I remember Candy questioning Kerry if he thought furious george deliberately misled the American People and of course he could not say that but Al doesn't have anything to lose and can let it rip!

11. I hate to admit this - but Gore makes me nervous.
When Gore starts to say or do anything I start to worry how it's going to affect us. It's wrong, but I've come to think of him as a bad luck charm.

Gore has very little political sense - way less than he used to when he was being who he really is - a moderate Southerner. Besides not running again, I don't rememeber the last time he made a good political decision.

It's amazing how - in many respects - Clinton and Gore are polar opposites.

12. I disagree

The Al Gore that you refer to being a moderate, is not the real Al Gore. The way Al Gore is speaking out is who he really is. If you have covered Gore over the years, he has always had the same views, beliefs, etc, however, now he is just letting lose. I know Al and I know that he is most relaxed and most at ease speaking out the way he is now. I have even heard him say he is speaking from his heart.

You have to know something about Al Gore...you doesn't calculate how his decesions play politically everytime he does something. Al actually has a mind and direction...and he follows his heart. For instance, the Dean endorsement. He knew that was a big risk, however, Dean had demonsrated the willingness to stand up against the Iraq war and revive grassroot politics, both of which really impressed Gore.

So in a sense, I guess you are right. Clinton and Gore are opposites. Gore follows his heart in most cases whereas Slick Willy usually thinks of things in political terms.

Go get 'em Al!

15. Actually, Gore is a moderate
as most Southern Dems are.
I'm somewhere between an Independent and a Blue Dog Dem and I think Al Gore helped shape that belief.

About the only thing Gore is "ultra-liberal" (in the political vernacular) on is the environment and that's one of the "ultra-liberal" viewpoints I can most definitely live with.
