Belo owned Dallas Morning News picks
Shrub for president. The reasons spewed forth are typical retardlican views. Pathetic.

Americans want and need a president with a backbone steeled by courage and a heart tendered by compassion. Not since the beginning of World War II has America faced as much uncertainty about its national security and its economic prospects. The next president must have the firm conviction to persevere against Islamic terrorism and the empathy to give his fellow citizens a helping hand, even as he steadily guides the American economy through the turbulent waters of globalization.

1. Prolly afraid of massive "cancel" if they endorse Kerry. Tx is solid red
anyhow. This means little in the grand scheme of things.

3. Courage and compassion
Ah yes, the courage to skitter from air force base to air force base on 9/11 while the real leaders were doing things.

And the compassion to cut boys & girls programs, school funding, etc.

Yup, courage and compassion.

4. What I love about newspaper endorsements.
Newspapers cannot plead ignorance.

At the end of the worst residency in U.S. history I can hardly wait to see who endorses more of the same.

5. The Dallas Morning Whore is crying for people to subscribe.
I went with a friend to Sam's Club (I wouldn't have a membership at that place if it was free, but I like to make fun of the republicans who tend to migrate there.) and the Dallas Morning Whore was giving free newspapers at the entrance and was asking people if they would like to subscribe. My friend looked at me and said, "Don't embarrass me!" So, I held my tongue as long as I could and while he was in the check out line I went over to the guy and I said, "You people need to have some democrats writing for your paper. Nobody wants to read that right wing crap. I stood in the check out line for 10 minutes and watched 20 people walk right by your booth. You can't even give that rag away." One of the guys in the booth was African American and he just laughed the whole time I was talking to the other guy. :-)
