"I can't imagine he'd say that..." and several other end runs around the question. But no matter how she was asked, she simply would not deny Bush making the statement.

So PLEASE, John Kerry...ask him point-blank. Did you say you thought there be no casualtied, or is Pat Robertson a liar? Which is it?

Another thing I noticed was her facial demeanor. She struck me as kind of depressed. Anyone notice that? The look that suggests all is not well in the Bush Camp. The look that comes from watching Bush's internal polling numbers plummet.

I've been noticing this more and more in other Bush operatives lately. Just shut off the sound and look into their eyes, that's the real story.
