(WP)Bush official say's Bush is doing WORSE than the polls indicate
That Republican official said polling for Bush showed him in a weaker position than some published polls, both nationally and in battlegrounds. In many of the key states, the official said, Bush is below 50 percent, and he is ahead or behind within the margin of sampling error -- a statistical tie.
"There's just no place where they're polling outside the margin of error so they can say, 'We have this state,' " the official said. "And they know that an incumbent needs to be outside the margin of error."

5. If the "official" isn't lying, then
watch out for something nasty from the "Coward Who Lost Broward" come Tuesday or Wednesday.

They will stop at nothing to save their own hides.

I'm trying to figure out if this cat is lying in order to lower expectations.

But what would be the point of doing that at this point in the race?

6. Nah...you don't lower expectations
in elections. It's all about morale, and being down isn't good for morale, it's bad.

8. The Bush campaign has been telling the Wall Street Journal reporters
for weeks that Bush would need to be ahead by 4 or 5 points in order to win. The campaign also told the Journal reporters several weeks ago that Bush could not win on his record and that his only chance was to attack Kerry relentlessly.
