Many people here seem to worship Zogby. Now he seems like a decent enough guy. I doubt he's a partisan hack. His politics seem alright, but if you want to check his polls out and get validation by them, then you're setting your self up for a BIG disappointment.
Why do I say this? Well, his tracking polls in almost every battleground look bad. Yep. They look terrible. I just saw Kerry trailing in every major battleground, other than CO (oddly enough). The numbers are up at www.dalythoughts.com He's trailing by 5 in OH, 3 in FL, and up only 1 in MN, down by 5 in NM...Needless to say, they were terrible. BTW, I should also add that Zogby had Bush just 1 point behind Gore in CA. Gore won it by 12.
What does this mean? It means nothing, or however much you want it to mean. It means this election is not over, that this week will determine absolutely everything, and watching the tracking polls may literally make you sick.
These polls may be the most useless we've ever seen. They could be dead on. I'll tell ya one thing though. All that matters is making sure the people vote. Some supposeed internal numbers were bad for Bush in all the major battleground. Those may well be true...but the only way we can make them true is by getting people out to vote.
