Help brief the cuberats on the breaking explosives story

I've been at work all day and have no inkling (other than DU chatter) as to how heavily this story has been covered.

Does it look like this can continue into tomorrow and the rest of the week? More than anything, the cover-up has to be the main point emphasized.
