Great report. I emailed the story as well to the Sun Sentinal reporter who had done the story on voter bullying, got a short note back sounding surprised.

Lately he doesn't even threaten a neutral or pro-Bush segment.

That may not be what I learned in j-school 20 years ago, but so damn necessary in today's media climate.

12. Talking about Democratic Underground
Went by the local Democratic Headquarters today. (Had to replace my sign that was stolen last night.) Got to talking about Democratic Underground and told them to be sure and check it out. One lady was wondering about a "subversion" organization because of Underground in the title. Couldn't help but laugh. Told her that the last thing we are is underground - that everybody is talking about DU. Said she would check it out.
