Remember Carville's speech to the NH Clinton staff after the Gennifer Flowers scandal broke? I'm paraphrasing, but it was something like this:

"Every time we get a candidate we believe in, they {Republicans} come up here and try to knock him down... Think about what kind of Supreme Court you're gonna get with these guys... Think about the five different kinds of positions on civil rights you're gonna get... If you knock this shit back now, you're gonna knock it back forever."

Think about that. :D

1. I have to see this movie

I keep hearing about it. I saw it pretty cheap at Target.

Carville is an awesome speaker, and I hear his finest moments are in "The War Room."

Of course, Newt Gingrich happened in 1994, and Bush/Cheney in '00, so we didn't exactly knock the shit back "forever", but we're getting another chance to fight back now. The Republicans have had 4 years of free reign, and Congress for the last decade. It's time for the backlash. It starts now.
