Just heard on Crossfire. RW talking point now is that Pentagon cleared up the explosives issue, the Army took them on April 13, 2003.
Only it wasn't the same bunkers in KSTP footage, Maj. Pierson was there on April 13 and said he saw no seals, so he couldn't have taken the sealed explosives seen on the April 18 KSTP tape!
That didn't stop the WH, however and they are now conflating the whole thing and saying Pierson took them!!
Here is a great timeline that Michael in Chicago just put up that makes the whole chronology clear:
Boy did they have their stories screwed up! They are still going with it as if that Pentagon PRess Conference went well. It was a disaster! I watched all of it and Pierson took plastic explosives, not powder, unsealed, meaning he never even saw the 380 ton cache of HMX and RDX. This was confirmed by the IAEA within 20 minutes!!
When the reporters asked if this was just another "scenario" like the truck satellite/Russian story, Bush's appointee cut the whole thing off before he could get another similar question with "That's all the time we have!" and left quickly.
