Poll question: With the holidays, will campaign standings freeze?
Edited on Sun Dec-21-03 02:25 AM by tsipple
I'm officially starting my Christmas vacation tomorrow (12/21), and I know lots of people are busy shopping, putting up decorations, etc.

So I guess I'm wondering what people think about how the holiday season will (or will not) affect politics. Did we just go through the last week of significant political action until Monday, January 5, 2004?

1. Over the holidays, politics is only important to a few junkies
Try speaking of it to anyone else and you'll be frozen out.

2. "Mad Dash" to Iowa?
It's only two weeks until the Iowa Caucuses when people return to work on January 5th from New Year's vacations. We do have an early caucus and primary season this time, don't we? Two weeks isn't very much time.

5. I'm also going to Iowa & to 1 of those parties on the 30th
which imo are activities for the initiated not the novices...these latter folk are thinking New Years Eve not Dec 30 fundraisers for Dean.

6. Dean's lead in NH is safe, but watch out of Iowa.
I have a hunch Iowa is going to be DaSuperBrawl.
