Peculiar happenings whenever a Bush is involved.

It's not Bush lying about his guard service, it's a commander at the base losing all Bush's paperwork.

It's not Bush lying, but the SEC that mysteriously lost all his Harken share sale paperwork.

It's not Bush lying about the missing explosives, it's the video tape of the explosives by the Minn. news crew that was deceiving your eyes.

Funny that exit polls never seem to be accurate whenever Bush and electronic voting (Diebold, ES&S, et al) are involved.

1. Exactly what I was just saying to someone
Funny that the exit polls were so wrong in FL last time, but nowhere else... Now they are "wrong" in a lot of swing states.

2. Exit polls seem to be a good measure of all other races, but Bush's.
You've got a point there.

3. The exit polls weren't wrong in 2000 either.
bushes have a knack for making votes disappear and appear as needed.

...I find it funny.

They went to war based on lies to occupy and invade a secular Arab nation and convert it into an Islamic quagmire

They've lied, and manipulated the media, since day 1 (that would be Sept 12th for the "it changed everything" people)

They've demonstrated absolutely NO ethical reservations about using dubious, illegal, immoral and even criminal means to achieve their ends

And half of New York thinks, as do I, that they PURPOSEFULLY knew about the impending attacks and did NOTHING, even LESS THAN NOTHING, to prevent them, knowing they'd score much needed political capital...and we WILL suffer more attacks under a second Bush term, they'll need something to galvanize a deeply elected populace after a dubious election

I have NO doubt in my mind that they would, did, and will cheat. It's easier for them to skew the results of this election than it would be to invalidate the results of the election after the fact.

connect the fucking dots, this is no longer a nation that deserves the respect or admiration of the world, it's a bananna republic, under the rulership of a cabal every bit as corrupt and wicked as Saddam Hussein

ON EDIT: I am now an "insurgent" in the nation of my birth

10. tjdee....if you don't have enough proof by now, you're brain dead.
Just shut the fuck up. You've been here long enough to see a pattern in this. If you don't, then you're part of the problem.

13. Easy, easy....
Why don't you wonder why none of the leaders of our party believe such tinfoil poppycock? Why wasn't Carville ranting about the "stolen" election? The burden of proof is on the tinfoilers. And no, there hasn't been ANY proof. If there was - we would hear about it not tomorrow - but tonight. Loud and clear. There is no proof. None. We pick up and fight another day. It does no good to think every election we win is "fair" and every election we lose is "stolen." Enough.

Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 12:48 AM by tjdee
I KNOW it was BBV--I'm asking how you PROVE IT to the rest of the country, as there's no paper trail, etc.

So could you back up off the "shut the fuck up?"

Way harsh and totally uncalled for. Jumping all over me for what you THOUGHT I said is ridiculous, especially since you know I've been around here long enough to....gee, not be brain dead.

8. After the election, Dems will have to investigate why the exit
polls and the "actual" polls diverged so radically. We should fund a national survey, conducted door to door, to find out how people say they voted, then compare it with the results.

If Bush pulls this off, something is truly rotten in Texas.

9. I wonder about what happened in Ohio earlier this evening.
Two counties, Hamilton and Lucas, showed lots of votes for the Green Party candidate, Cobb, who was getting 0 votes in other counties. In Hamilton County he had exactly as many votes as Kerry (more than 30,000), and in Lucas County, Kerry had 0 votes and Cobb had 4,000+. Later those results were corrected and Cobb had 0 in both counties, with Kerry's vote total in Hamilton County unchanged (the votes for the Green candidate were just wiped out) and Kerry given all the votes previously given to Cobb in Lucas County.

WTF???

I didn't see any similarly bizarre "glitches" with Bush's votes -- no counties where he registered only 0 votes, or only as many as the Green candidate.

I remember reading somewhere that when Schwarzenegger won in CA, some counties showed suspiciously large numbers of votes for third-party candidates who had no chance of winning.

I was glad to see those Ohio results corrected, but the results happened only after DUers noticed and started contacting the media (election officials, too, I think).

15. Check out the difference between exit poll and tabulated votes..
The exit polls show Kerry's got the majority of men and women and yet this isn't reflected in the tabulated numbers. Gee. Sounds like something's amiss.
