The only reason I could stomach seeing Bush's blustering, swaggering idiocy was the thought he would be gone soon. I don't want, after all this is over, and again, IF he wins, to see even one more smirk from his immoral face.

I am already severely behind on my cable bill. My cable is due to be shut off any time now. When that happens, I will settle up what I owe and tell them not to turn it back on.

To tell you the truth, I can scarecely stand to watch TV anymore anyway. I will miss Jon Stewart, but one single half hour show is not enough to justify cable at this point.

I already boycott all corporate owned newspapers and magazines.

7. Maybe the best approach to take is to just say "to hell with it"
and not give a crap about anything. We can devoid ourselves of any interest in the well-being of this country. We can put the blinders on and go about our daily tasks, not paying any attention to the news, not caring about those who are unemployed, not worrying our little heads off about those sons and daughters and fathers and mothers getting killed in an illegal war, we can just go about our merry little way and forget the rest of the world exists as long as we have our homes and our families and our jobs. Why not, seems to work perfectly well for the stupid fucks who vote Republican?

8. Yeah, it sucks
There's no way that one can stay sane if one spends much time actually thinking about the well-being of this country.

10. Uh, you're missing the point. not a matter of saying To Hell With it
it's a matter of STOPPING PATRONIZING THE MEDIA, particularly the television media, that clearly is a propaganda tool. The illegal war was trumped up and sold, and might NOT have been had some balance been shown in, say, airing the protests going on around the country or other opinions to offset the rightwing prowar bullshit. One thing I was/am hoping for in a win for Kerry is a chance to fix the FCC, media ownership rules, Fairness doctrine, etc. With a Bush win, this cannot and will not happen. Therefore, the media is more malevolent than a joke or infotainment, it is complicit in furthering this administration's agenda, and I will not watch it anymore (with the possible exception of Jon Stewart-sad that *fake news* trumps television media propaganda).
