When, Why, Where, Who?

When -
August. The attack ads were ignored, the children in charge of the campaign had no clue, and only later did experienced Clinton people come into the fray to straighten the ship. A little too late.

Why -
Because Mr. Comeback Kid kidded himself about who he was up against, and who he allowed to ru(i)n his possibilities. The top dogs misunderestimated the opponent once again. Despite 4 years of devastating history and facts staring them in the face.

Where -
Ohio, Florida, Iowa, Colorado, New Mexico, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire.

Who -
Us. We had all of the advantages. A poor economy, a wrong-headed invasion of Iraq, the losing of bin Laden and most of Afghanistan, a loss of all friends and allies world-wide, religious pomposity and revivals run by pea-brained, vile, evil, hypocritical ignoramuses. A liar and deceiver for a president, surrounded by an evil cabal.

Yet, instead selecting a live, active, envigorating candidate like Dean, or a hero like general Clark, it was us. Our fault. We chose the least electable, least likable person on the ballot.

And even with that ball and chain, we simply did not work hard enough to get more votes out. Other than for his selecting who ran his campaign into the ground in July and August, we cannot blame Kerry. He is what and who he is. A decent person.

It was us who blew it. WE lost it, not Kerry.

Time to clean house and start from scratch. WIth a new leader in the senate coming in, it is the perfect opportunity. WE ABSOLUTELY MUST START PLANNING FOR THE MIDTERM ELECTIONS. And work even harder.
