it felt DAMN GOOD to tear them to shreds. I've never been a bumpersticker person. Hate 'em. This election was the first time I've ever put one on any car I owned. They are now gone... just like John Kerry and the Democratic Party. GONE. Never again will I stand up and fight for a candidate. I feel like a G-D DAMN FOOL.

I had a friend who kept calling me for affirmation last night. Every 1/2 hour she would call saying "He's going to lose!" Me, "No, he is NOT going to lose! Look at the exit polls! He's NOT going to lose." Then she'd call and say, "It's looking bad! He lost another state! We're going to lose!" Me, (the FOOL) "No, no, no he is NOT going to lose! There's no way in hell Kerry is going to lose!." She felt really good when SHE went to bed. Then this morning she called me and I reassured her that Kerry was NOT going to give up. He was going to fight! Kerry is a fighter! LOL! G-d, what a fucking fool I am. :(

Kerry could have conceded last night. He did not. He IS a fighter. He truly wants to win. He's heartbroken. But the writing is on the wall. The math just isn't there. We unfortunately just don't have the remaining votes. There are fewer provisional ballots than Bush's margin.

It is blowing up a wicked wind here on the coast of Maine and as a result the Kerry Edwards lawn sign got blown off it's wire and ended up in the ditch. I had not shed any tears so far, but when I looked out the window and saw that sign in the ditch, I cried.

Do you realize how many Democrats are still in power? Do you realize that we got 48% of the popular vote? 252 electoral votes? We have a 9% difference in the Senate? We have 46% of the seats in the House? That isn't a party that is gone, not by a long shot.

I'm stumping DU for people who have a passion, and here is my speech. :)

One step at a time.

We have to shift – we have to accept the service economy and we have to adapt. The Internet is as much of a liberal form of communication we have to loose as this election was now that the Bush regime is still in charge. Lets make sure we adopt and take charge of the only uncontrolled media channel there is and lets make it happen like its 1999 all over again but based on sound, tried and true ideas.

So please, I ask for your emails, I ask for your support and I ask for your time in developing our service industry, our grass roots efforts and our media empire so we can make the next 4 years the most organized outreach to America we have ever seen.
