I'm coming out of this with a sense of grim quietude. Where before I wanted to scream and wreck shit, now I feel that strange calm one gets in the face of a true horror.

In the eye of the emotional hurricane, as it were, I've been struck by grisly inspiration. Let's print up a few hundred thousand t-shirts with large images of the most shocking and hideous wounds/corpses of the Iraq war. I mean the ones that make you want to throw up or double over in tears. A lot of us have the technology to make these at home, right now.

And then, let's all wear them to work on the day the Electoral College meets--or maybe the inauguration.

A silent, visual protest to remind Red America that their sick fantasies have real-world results--and to make them pull their heads out of the sand and look.
