1. He seems to be gaining momentum
They are broadcasting a rally with him on C-Span at this moment and he has some good ideas. Senator Edwards sounds upbeat and positive and that usually goes over well here in Iowa.

2. That is my hope...
...but I still think he is a bit of a longshot for first place.

However, second place is in his grasp at the moment!

3. my take is...
I think the media was doing its part in making some news from the Iowa election. AS much as I like Edwards, I do look at him as trying to climb the ladder way to fast. He would have been able to do so much more for our party had he chose to stay in office.

4. If so it could become a Kerry/Edwards race
If so it could become a Kerry/Edwards race. Might be quite ironic given the months of acrimony between Clark and Dean supporters here.

8. oh, man, wouldn't that be a fabulous
debate: which of these men's excellent visions for this country appeals more to YOU?

I would love to see a Kerry/Edwards one on one debate.

5. I don't think you're first
that's all everyone has been saying today is that it wouldn't be surprising if any of the four won Iowa now... if you had made the "bold" prediction last week however, you'd be on to something.

10. He realistically could
Because there's more numbers when you combine the small rural counties than when you combine the larger ones and that's what he's been working on. He could blow everybody out of the water. That would be a hell of alot of fun!

11. Seems like you have fallen victim to the
corporate media tranquilizer. I hope you don't bet any money you can't afford to lose.
