Kerry with Kennedy
Edited on Mon Jan-19-04 08:40 AM by JI7
ted kennedy was incredible on cspan yesterday with john kerry. he really got the crowd excited. he is inspiring, funny, energetic. i loved when kerry said ted kennedy was the leader of the democratic wing of the democratic party.you can see how m uch they like and admire the other and at the same time they love joking around with the other. kerry's both daughters were there also. he asked them to speak a little and you can see how much they love their father. the entire even was kind of short, but the ted kennedy part made the entire thing one of the best kerry rallys i had ever seen.

also, on the same day ted kennedy's son patrick who is congressman from rhode island was campaigning with and for gephardt. i thought that was nice also.

1. I enjoyed that as well.
Forgive me, but it's a good thing that was only after lunch! I think Teddy might have had tee martwonies by then...after dinner might have been a disaster.

However, Teddy's votes have been good and he & Kerry are to be commended, IMO.

4. he was at a gep event
he didn't give a speech as ted kennedy did. i think he was just with gephardt along with hoffa and other gep supporters as gep campaigned and met with people. but i saw him out there and i just thought it was kind of nice.

6. Because he exposed more government corruption than ANY lawmaker in
modern history?

I know alot of Washington insiders who have never forgiven Kerry for that and have worked against him for decades.
