This year, the president spent the holiday at his Crawford, Texas, ranch, where he also rode his bike, chopped some brush and had a traditional turkey-and-stuffing meal with family.

Four Killed in Baghdad's Green Zone

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A British security firm said Friday that four of its employees were killed and 15 others injured in an attack in Baghdad's Green Zone.

Tim J. O'Brien, spokesman for the London-based Global Risk Strategies, said the employees were killed Thursday, but declined to say what type of attack had occurred.

"There was an incident yesterday. We lost four people and had 12 to 15 who were injured," he said. "We can't confirm what this incident actually was until we go through internal investigations."

Multiple explosions were heard Thursday and black smoke was seen rising from the fortified Green Zone, which houses the U.S. and Iraqi leadership. The protected area lies on the western bank of the Tigris River.

Two U.S. Marines Killed in Iraqi City of Falluja

NEAR FALLUJA, Iraq (Reuters) - Two U.S. Marines were killed in the Iraqi city of Falluja Thursday when insurgents threw grenades at them after they entered a house to search it, their commanding general said Friday.

Lt. Gen. John Sattler said Marines had also killed three insurgents in the incident. Marines have been searching houses in Falluja for weapons and guerrillas after a major offensive in the city earlier this month.
