I have two horses who are "in the thick of it", and I'd rather not see either Kerry's or Dean's or whoever's supporters tear each other to bits over who wins and who loses. It's only the first caucus, it's not the end of the world. Let's at least be civil and gracious, yes? Those football threads in the lounge freaked me out with their nastiness.

If Dean pulls off a miracle and wins 99% of the vote, I will not gloat or say it's over.

If anyone wins resoundingly, it still won't be over. If you don't think that EVERY candidate will be re-tooling after tonight, well then, I have some swampland in Indiana to sell you. Additionally, the top four at least have enough support and money to last until after Super Tuesday.

Also, today's Kucinich "surprise" should teach everyone that anything can and does happen in politics. Who knows what will happen in the next two weeks that isn't based off of what we've seen so far and out of tonight.

5. So far, I think people are being great.

I've only visited about 6 of these types of threads, but people seem to be civil. I'm noticing some surprises (for me, anyway) in this caucus. Edwards is doing well so far, and Gephardt isn't doing as well as I'd thought, but they're not even close to being done yet. Dean isn't doing nearly as well as I thought he would, either. Overall, I think this is great. It will sort of narrow down the field, and perhaps more and more people will be able to tell pollsters who the hell the Democratic candidates are.

My second choice is (Kerry), I have been force fed spin for awhile now. I cannot say what I will say by the end of the night. It is safe to assume I will be civil, but thats about it!
