Clark supporters

so what do you think of tonight's results? I'm not a Clark supporter (or supporter of any candidate), but I'm curious if you see this as good or bad. one the one hand it's a major blow to Dean, on the other hand it'll mobilize Kerry big time.

If Kerry and Edwards' momentum carries over, Clark will be in for a fight. Dean's showing was a huge surprise for me - I'm wondering what effect, if any, it will have on NH.

Kerry was my second choice after Clark, so I want what's best for the country. I think Clark would be the one most capable of beating the * and bringing our country back to his former status. Next to Clark, I believe Kerry could do the job just wonderfully.

But most Clark supporters aren't ONLY Clark supporters, and will be glad to cast their vote in November for Clark, Edwards, or Kerry.

It will be much more painful for me to vote for Dean than for the three aforementioned candidates. Therefore, I consider this a victory for Clark supporters and for the party itself.

It will make Kerry a stronger candidate, which will make Clark a stronger candidate. It will be an interesting race between these two to see who can turn out number one. It is, IMHO, a two person race at this point.

Kerry pulled out all the stops and diverted almost all his resources to Iowa. Because of this he'll be playing catch up and possibly blowing through what money he has left.

Edwards may end up stealing some of Clark's support in the South.

But only time will tell.

Kerry vs. Clark that Clark has the advantage. Clark vs. Edwards and I don't know what's going to happen. This is going to be an interesting race. Dean's poll numbers in NH after this will be interesting.

16. Will Make Things Tighter For Clark in NH and SC

Strong showings from Kerry and Edwards will definitely make things tighter in NH (Kerry) and SC (Edwards) for Wes Clark.

I subscribe to the idea that the strong showings of Kerry and Edwards will detract more from Clark's support than from Dean's support in NH which I believe will remain in first.

I'm so happy to finally have this ship underway, though! FINALLY! The rubber meets the road and we're on our way through primary land!

I'm shocked at Deans results, and amazed at Edwards numbers. It was a total rebuke of Dean.

I think Clark will be fighting for a strong third place as this will help Kerry some. But a third for Clark is ok in NH.

Clark already has the Message "Leadership" branded to him.

What is Kerry going to do?

He has no message and imitating Clark will make him look lame.

All he can try and do is smear Clark but will end up out manuevered.

Clark is Edwards and Kerry and Dean rolled up into one.

23. I'm glad Dean lost because I think he is devisive and would take..

the party down. I think he loses Democrats many more supporter than he brings in. I am elated that the IA voters saw this. Whenever we have good candidates to counter the extremists the moderates will come out to defeat a bad but popular candidate. Also, if we're going to lose to a NE liberal I'd rather my chances with Kerry.

Clark's fight was always going to be in the South. A lose in IA and NH is no more a likely defeat for Clark than it was for Clinton. Am I biting my nails? Yes. Do I feel defeated? No.

I've been freakin' about...the electibility of someone else.

Clark's best, no doubt.
But I have hope that at least someone feasible, Kerry or
Edwards, is on the assent.
