I'm not sure, but I remember quite clearly that on 9-11, my first reaction was"bu$h knows something about this." I wasn't the only one who had this initial reaction.

but stalled for over 1/2 hour waiting for the attacks to finish. So did Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Myers, Cheney, Rice, and Tenet.

If all of the planes had left on time and the attack had stayed on schedule the whole thing would have been over by 9:00 AM. Fortunately things don't always go the way you planned and thus the criminals got stuck sitting on their hands until the event played itself out.

Which is probably why they had to shuffle his stupid ass all over the continent that day, so they could pound a cover story into his empty head.

Bush himself is the empty suit that sells the War on Terra sizzle. Cheney, however, helped make it happen.

Remember how Cheney kept him hopping around the country, out of Washington, and was the source of the bogus "Air Force One is a target" rumour?

Remember how Bush couldn't testify before the 9/11 commission without Dick holding his hand?

I'm not convinced Bush knows even now what happened.

Bin Laden issued a clear and rational declaration of war in 1996, escalated the conflict through the decade and won a great victory in 2001. He admitted it on the last tape. Why do people -- many of whom share his critique of US policies -- find it so unbelievable that someone other than Bush would attack us?

And I think "knows something about this" is sufficiently different from LIHOP as not to matter.

Could you imagine what would have happened if a 9/11 attack had happened during Clinton's era, and it turned out the attack master mind's family had been in business with the Clinton family for 30 years and that within hours of the attack Clinton was arranging for all family members to be secretly flown out of the country?

First, there are thousands of rich Saudis -- every prince is entitled to an allowance and many are involved in business.

A low bacon number is one thing; a direct connection is another. Again, I'm not saying I know what happened, but there is a very strong circumstantial case of LIHOP.

Have you ever read about FBI counter-terrorism chief John O'Neil? He was on bin Laden's trail summer of 2001. There are even news reports that the CIA interviewed bin laden summer of 2001 in hospital in Yemen. The Bush adminstration kept frustrating O'Neil's attempts to get bin landen and O'Neil resigned, taking a job as chief of security at the WTC, where he died on 9/11.

Yes, I watched the Frontline show on O'Neil and he's played a role in a few books I've read. But I did not get the impression that deference to the Saudis was a new American policy. O'Neil himself complained about the same treatment in the Clinton years. Richard Clarke, I believe, tells a story of how a hit on bin Laden was cancelled for fear of hitting a minor Saudi royal. Also, I believe the policy of fast-tracking Saudi visas predated the Bush administration.

I didn't really believe the Bush cartel could be so evil as to plan the 911 attacks but now I'm starting to think they would do anything to retain power. Someone, or several someones including Arneback (sp), have said that the true Florida vote showed Gore had won and it came out on Sept. 12. Naturally, nobody wanted to overturn the presidency after the attack. Could it have been planned to preclude Americans from wanting the real president to kick Bush the Pretender out?

It doesn't make sense to launch a war for oil or money when it costs so damn much to do so.

Look, the ONLY reason why that plane didn't make it to Washington was because the passengers took action and brought it down. The plane was SUPPOSED to hit the White House; the only reason it didn't was because patriotic Americans - whom the conspirators never allowed for -- interfered.

Bush knew the planes were going to attack and that is why he was away.

It was the people who run the country. I'm certain that Bin Laden did intend to attack the US, but the PNAC helped him out through a covert op (or a series of covert ops), very likely without Bin Laden even knowing that corrupt US operatives was helping. Bin Laden's own initial surprise told half the story.
W is an idiot, though, and an operation like that could not have risked an idiot (especially one in such a high-profile position) being involved. These people are very careful, and they're anything but stupid.
