When we talk about "Bush", WHO are we really talking about?

The way I see it, Bush isn't really the one who's charge; he's like Ronald Reagan, a figurehead and mouthpiece for a group behind him with its own agenda.

Whenever I read "Bush proposes a new measure...Bush calls for such-and-such...", I immediately consider it a more convenient and quicker way to say "Dick Cheney and Karl Rove have instructed President Bush to publicly announce a new measure that they want to have enacted..."

They just need Bush to talk in front of a camera and to sign documents.

I don't give a shit IF he is just the talking head (and he probably is). He's still the president and the buck is supposed to stop with him. He LOVES it when people blame someone else.

Personally I got enough blame to go around for ALL of them, but ultimately HE is the one most responsible. He and he alone.

I think he's completely controlled by a bunch of other people who are scheming, evil machiavellians. Bush himself is essentially a moron; an empty suit; a mouthpiece; a marionette.

He (semi-literately) reads the speeches he's given; he signs the legislation he's told to sign; he supports the people he's told to support; he lets other people read his "news" to him; etc. His record speaks volumes. He's in completely over his head. If it weren't for his cabinet and handlers, who knows what may have happened by now?

The fact that Bush is so intellectually inferior to the likes of John Kerry makes this election even more difficult to swallow. Are there really enough idiots in this country who would rather have the obviously dumber guy in charge?

But he's still an adult, he's of at least enough IQ points to reasonably know what he's doing (as in not moderately retarded). So regardless of how he's being used (and I agree he is NOT the brains of the outfit), I still hold him responsible in addition to all the others.

Even though he's fully controlled by others who are smarter and who have more specific evil intentions, he's not SO moronic as to be completely irresponsible for what results from the executive orders and legislation he "legitimates".

Even if you're intellectually dull, you should be able to perceive and condemn obvious evil.
