Poll question: Which One Is Most Likely To Burn bu$h?

Whether in a tell-all book, interview, changing party affiliation, or something else. I think it's Powell, and I've thought that since Richard Clarke did the 60 Minutes interview.

Something else to consider, ... More than half of the giggling murderer's cabinet has resigned...8 of 15. Is this it for now, or do you think there will be more? It could be that the ones still in office have something on bu$h that even KKKarl cannot "fix."

to tell the truth? I personally doubt it. It would mean that he'd have to admit what a pandering worthless jackal he is. I can't see that happening.

edit: I forgot to vote. I wish you would have put a 'None of the above' choice in your poll. Because that's what I'd chose. These people have way too much to lose if they told the truth.

Powell sold his soul to the Nixon White House, but he made the payment and expected value for it. He fulfilled his part of the bargain, rose through the ranks, achieved the highest cabinet position, and then, over and over again, got publicly fucked.

I don't see integrity entering into the issue, I see simple REVENGE being the prime motivator. He has a place in history, and he wants to ensure that a crazy stupid tiny cowboy doesn't get to write the definitive version of who he was or what he did.

It doesn't make him "more right" or "more better" for that matter. But when he does weigh in, I'll bet it will be interesting.

I'm not sure Powell really has that much to lose. I agree that he could come off that he was lying the whole time, but I think it could be rationalized away(faulty intel, I'm here to help the president, etc) and also I don't think he has any further political aspirations.

and maybe Asscroft who won't say anything bad about bush. Powell isn't really even a republican is he? I woudn't count on him saying anything, but he's certainly most likely to sting bush.

14. Powell? Are you kidding?

Powell had his shot at integrity before the UN. The UN was set to oppose bush's push until Powell put his rather sizable international credibility on the line. He knowingly went before the UN and said lie after lie... knowingly.

Had he had any integrity he would have resigned, out in public, before doing so. The aftermath of such a public resignation, at that point of time, might have stemmed some of the craziness that followed - including making more moderate US citizens more skeptical more quickly.

He isn't going to do anything now. He already lost his credibility and integrity. All he has left is the ability to make a ton of money based on the corporate cronies of bush. Think he is going to bite that hand? Puhleeze.
