What is treason?

I am thinking up a poster for the Sunday, 51 Capitals March. My question is: is voter suppression treason? What about voting fraud?
I would really like to use the word 'treason' in some fashion.

2. treason is defined in the constitution, art. iii, sect. 3:

Section 3 - Treason Note

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

try to come up with a word or phrase that sounds like treason without actually using the word.

5. It wasn't voter fraud, it was election fraud.

Don't put the onus on the voter, put it on the election.

If election fraud/voter suppression a terrorist attack on our democracy? Didn't w equate terrorism as an act of war? Isn't it an attack on our Constitution?

I know it is a strecth of the definition, but is it a believable strecth?
