Poll question: Will you support the same Presidential primary candidate in '08?

Assuming the Democratic presidential primary candidate you supported in '04 were to run again in '08 how likely are you to support that same person? Would you consider supporting someone else this time? Let's assume the candidate you supported last time is running again along with some new faces that didn't run in '04. I'm wondering how many people are flexible on this point and how many are ready to start campaigning for '08.

I supported Kucinich. I would like to see if someone with a similar message runs in '08 that might run a better campaign and have a better shot at winning.

15. In terms of issues, yes

I think we need an economic populist. I think we need someone who will get up there and say losing more jobs to free trade is a bad thing and we need to do something real about it. I think someone who stands for what Dennis stands for has a great shot at getting elected because he could change the debate. He has an inspiring vision.

Kucinich's problem is not issues. He had two campaign managers during his run for President and neither of them had ever worked on a political campaign before. I'm not convinced he would make a good administrator and even though the corporate media was against him from day one, many of the problems that campaign faced can be traced back to the fact that the campaign was poorly run.

These were my top two choices in the primary this time around. No offense to Kerry, but I would not support another go for him, for many reasons. Clark, it depends on who else is running. If a senator that I really really like say Russ Feingold, Dick Durbin, or Barbara Boxer were to get into the race (not too likely to happen), then I'd have to get behind them.

Besides the fact that he was a crook, Edwin Edwards was one of the best Governors that Louisiana ever had. Certainly better than Kathleen DINO Blanco.

I caught his speech after he beat Duke. I'd love to get a copy of it. He said something like they had held the line in LA but America had to get ready for what the Republicans were becoming. He was alone and he looked rattled (maybe it was the 40% Duke vote). An amazing moment of truth that you can only get on television. I hope he's out of jail. That was an outrage. I figure beating Duke was worth a real "Get Out of Jail Free" card.

Dean has that fight, but as long as corp US has control over the media, Dean's "yeah" shout will hang over his head 'till he croaks. obviously not a lot of people here agree with you but that happens. One thing I always respected about Lieberman is that he always stood up for what he believes in. He didn't try to sound more liberal for the primary. He got booed more than any other candidate because he said things that liberal audiences didn't like, but he always tried to make a strong case for his views instead of changing or glossing over his record. That's more than I can say for some of the others who ran.

If I could automatically make anyone I want President it would probably be Dick Durbin, John Lewis or Dennis Kucinich.
