because he has a clear cut message. As someone who lives in south, I can tell you right now he is a very viable candidate here. He would do well against Bush.

3. Well where I was at didn't seem freeped

it was a bit disorganized at first but the big four fared fairly well. Everyone got along fairly well and it was a good and educational experience. We all agreed that bush is an asshole and needs to go.

* Kerry and edwards supposedly were tied with gep and dean.


* There was a 300% increase in voters in which kerry and edwards were the main beneficiaries

* It's odd becuase these two were smaller than the gep / dean teams which should have benefited from "the voter drive" the most


* so ...the two don't add up

* add Gep poor showing and his votes going to kerry/edwards and you have your numbers

because there was a last minute voter increase, and final results were different from the pre-caucus polls, it was freeping? Where's the connection?

And you still haven't explained how Kerry's winning would benefit the Repubs, or why they'd pick him over a more conservative candidate like, say Lieberman, or a perceived to be unelectable (at least in their camp) one like Dean.

Regardless of what anyone here may think of him (I for one don't love him), Kerry represents the epitome of everything mainstream conservatives percieve to be and hate in liberals (Northeastern, Democrat, elitist, etc,). His distinguished service record also makes him a genuine threat to *. So why him?

And don't tell me about Edwards. We're talking about the frontrunner here.
