Republican Party easily outspent Dems

The county Republicans spent $14,445 in the last cycle -- $11,971 more than the Democrats -- bringing the GOP total for the pre- and post-general election cycles to $31,780.

The largest single contributions to the local Democratic Party were two $50 donations, one by Rebecca Sampson and one by Barb Lockard, both of Findlay.
The party also received $30 donations from Robert Duncan and Suzie Ryan, of Findlay.
The party's three largest expenditures were $1,020 to Thomas Roether, Findlay, for various campaign items; $285 to Nancy Stefani, Findlay, for parade expenses; and $133 to the Sign Shack, Findlay, for a Democratic parade banner.
