the confirmation process for nominees is too cumbersome and requires too much verification and "vetting"

Clinton could have pushed through changes in the process to make it easier for approving nominees, but he didn't...

soooooooooooooooo, Kerick's "problems" wouldn't have come to light if the "vetting"/approval process were easier -- therefore it's all Clinton's fault
