Conason hosting Franken's show will be discussing the next DNC Chair

with Markos of Daily Kos and Chris Suellentrop of Slate. We know Kos wants Dean.

First, he has someone on discussing Krugman's latest piece on SS privatization but the DNC Chair conversation should be on soon.

Just a heads up.

They are now throwing Begala's name into the mix for DNC Chair. I haven't heard that before. He loves negative campaigning but he sure pissed me off during the primaries.

Conason really wants to talk about it and has wanted to all week. Katherine thinks it is boring so this is the first time Joe has managed to get it on as a topic.

When Franken's on, it seems as if she exists to laugh at his jokes--typical popular radio format...a duo of a man and a woman with the woman laughing in the background.

The producers/programmers make the programming decisions, I think. I could be wrong about that though.

5. The TAP guy refuses to address what Begala & Carville did.

to Dean. He excuses it. Frankly I don't care who gets it. Begala and Carville should not.

6. Begala and Carville were slamming Dean constantly long before the

entire Scream episode.

This wasn't even the segment that was supposed to be on the DNC Chair.

I'm glad he mentioned that those two are part of the Washington insiders group.

Did you hear him say that Kerry raised more money than Dean? Yeah, AFTER
the primaries! Before he had to mortgage his mansion! Ooh, I HATE it when "our people" twist facts like 'Pugs do! :mad:

11. We want someone to point out that Dean was the one that helped

people figure out that if we all give a little (not a $2K check) it adds up to A LOT.

Kerry benefited from that new perspective in the Democratic grassroots. I never had given before but I gave to Dean and then I gave to Kerry.
