I'm still pissed about the Kerry campaign sitting on its hands

when Bushco attacked using the flip-flopping charge, the liberal charge, the Swift Vets - they threw everything, including the kitchen sink at Kerry and the campaign acted like it would all just pass. Those attacks were fucking damaging and Bush was repeating them every chance he got and they were all over the media and very rarely would you ever hear a Democratic response to them. Often the attacks were outright lies and distortions, AND EASILY PROVABLE AS SUCH, and yet they went fucking unaddressed.

They should have defended themselves, and done it in a way that turned it back on the Bushies, turned it into an offense. It could have been done. But alas, we got pussies running our party.

I picked candidates I liked and sent them contributions. I had considered sending money to the Party next time but have changed my mind. I'll stick to direct funds to people I like unless the Party gets involved pretty quick.

Members of the CBC are high on my list, btw.

Someone here even posted a thread about Dem folks in Congress supporting Rumsfeld. Sorry, regardless of where he grabbed some money, his message wasn't always wrong. And btw, I voted for Kerry and supported him with my dollars. I'll say and feel what I want about Nader regardless of who can kiss your a**.

7. They should have let Kerry go with his gut

10. I don't understand

why they would not defend themselves. Forget the 'wimpy' label. Even wimps can deny false charges. Even a cornered rat will ffight!! So what the hell was going on in there minds?? why didn't they deny the charges?? I'd like to think it was part of a subtle plan to win the election, but if so, it was too subtle, and there should have been a little muscle behind it.

Why the hell did they ignore lying charges of Bush* and the Republicnazis for so long??!!
