Senator with no real capital built up...but then I think how the situation would be if it were reversed and have no doubt "my" new Senator, Coburn (R-OK who I have known very well personally for 35 years) wouldn't hesitate to oppose a Kerry election. But ultimately, what we want won't affect (nor ought it) whatever Obama decides. I think.

Legally it can.

But I hope you would be truly happy with "not Bush". Because if Kerry were to challenge AND WIN, he wouldn't get anything done as president. If you can't see this I don't know how to explain it to you.

I don't like sitting around and hoping that Kerry is doing "something" behind the scenes anymore than anyone else. But one thing remains, Kerry has received the second most votes for President of any person in history. This does put him in good position to lead the challenge against Bush in the next 4 years. Challenge on the 6th AND LOSE, and he might as well retire on the 7th.

It's NOT fair but it's the way that it is.
