I hope my new Senator told him that he knows what he got away with in 2000 in Florida. I hope he told him that if he can ever prove it that he's going to nail Rove's ass to the wall and then W and Jeb for good measure.

I'm sure he didn't, though. What we have here is an eloquent statesman who faces unfairly high expectations. Funny how we never attach those expectations to run of the mill useless white Senators. Now when Obama gets sworn is as the ONLY African American Senator it will be all about "high expectations". Hmmm... Do you think there are more than a few people setting him up to fail?
