Yesterday, I heard THREE different Radical Right Hate Radio hosts
WHINE LIKE BABIES about the US aid efforts for the tsunami victims.

Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, and Mike Gallagher all bitched about how
how "it's not the governments job to donate that money". Of course, none of them said "it's not George Bushs' job to donate that money".
Who do they think ordered this? What a bunch of selfish swine!!!

When a part of our world goes through such a terrible thing as the tsunami disaster, all nations need to help as they can. The whining Radical Right just can't get the human thing right!

These fucking losers should be ashamed of themselves, but they're too fucking mentally defective to know how even that works!!!

13. Greece: 21 cents....Compassionate Americans: 6 cents

On a per capita basis based on I beleive 100 dollars, we were the lowest at 15 cents. When the right says that we make up for that in people, they're right. 6 cents per capita from indidivuals, bringing us up to make the greeks tie us for the least compassionate at 21 cents(others are in the 80 cent range). Of course we're still the worst because there are individual Greek donations as well.

The point is....Government has to do certain things, and provide certaint hings, because otherwise people would never pay enough for them.

We have a great park a block from my house. Baseball, soccer, excersie area, track, play gym. Paid for by our taxes in both construction and upkeep. If people had to individually donate to make it happen it MIGHT get built because of a huge donor, but probably not, and it wouldn't be maintained.

Same thing for tradgedies. The real question these supposed moral people should be asking is this..

"Why are we giving 350 million dollars to the Tsunami victims but we don't give near that much to prevent the 1-2 million poor children each year who die of malaria."

It shouldn't be Government's job to donate money, but unfortunately if they don't lots of good stuff would never get paid for. It's sort of like...if you couldn't withhold your taxes from your paycheck. You got your full amount, and at the end of the year the government said how much you make? ok you owe us this. How many of those people would not be able to pay their taxes because they hadn't saved enough money?

Same basic principle.

As our culture erodes, you see the ever increasing ability for people to turn a blind eye to such inhuman abuse. Companies cutting off disabled people in retirement, with the eventual signficant reduction of retirement benefits and extended retirement age for everyone. Working the machine so that health benefits will be that much more difficult to obtain.

Yes, they are the scum of our society. The only way they can touch people is to have them tune into hatred, anquish, selfishness, corruption, and greed.

People can do amazing things when they are consumed with frustration and hatred.

U.S. Should Not Help Tsunami Victims

Our money is not the government's to give.

As the death toll mounts in the areas hit by Sunday's tsunami in southern Asia, private organizations and individuals are scrambling to send out money and goods to help the victims. Such help may be entirely proper, especially considering that most of those affected by this tragedy are suffering through no fault of their own.

The United States government, however, should not give any money to help the tsunami victims

So there you have it: The paternity of a right wing talking point. Don't ever let them sell you the fiction that these talking chuckleheads think for themselves. They just serve as the echo chamber for stupid ideas.

the ones that went ahead and took their vacations there...Bodies floating and poisoning the water they are swimming in and the stench in the air has to be foul...besides the creepiness of enjoying yourself in the middle of such destruction and death...
