from the get-go - unlike myself - well, if they're heartbroken, I can more than understand. I am, too, and I switched over to him after Dean's campaign fizzled (still voted for him in the California primary, though). And I feel jilted, too. Yes, he promised me, too, that he had my back. He said he'd fight for every vote. I didn't see any fight at all. He threw it in as quickly as possible. I hope he stays in the Senate, because we can use a liberal voice, and a pro-environmental vote. But as for president next time around, I'll be looking elsewhere. Fight for every vote, will he? Anyone who works for a 2008 presidential democratic unless there is a fair and honest election is just plain stupid.

Donate to a worthy cause that won't get funded unless progressives and liberals donate. Don't throw money down well.

I think of the people during the election who didn't have a lot of money and giving $10 the the Kerry/Edwards campaign was a big deal.

It was a waste of money -- and in 2008 -- it is a waste of time, money and energy to "get out the vote" -- unless all votes are counted by hand -- and the computers tabulating the totals are hack proof.

So why would he bother to run -- why would anyone? The GOP hacked the vote in 2000, 2002 and 2004 -- they will hack the vote again -- because THEY KNOW THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH IT.

So no Kerry is not stupid -- will he be able to do anything about the sorry state of a fair count of the ballots? Probably not in his lifetime.

So the next step is to fix the election at the county/state level -- and if that doesn't happen -- then boycott the vote.

Why bother matching the GOP money machine -- when they control the voting machines?

Use the money to set up an alternative system of voting -- symbolic voting to show how a clean and honest system of voting can be run??

All I see being done with that money is to feed the TV monster -- who in turn bows to the Corporate GOP god.
