He allows presidents wide latitude to choose their cabinet. (He wouldn't confirm him for the Supreme Court, though, because that's a lifetime appointment.)

Not sure I agree with him, but I understand where he's coming from, and he's consistent.

When we elect someone, not ever on merit, but because we heard or saw their name somewhere,(scandal sheet - movie marquee)we can only expect the same type of politicians that hold office today.
Somewhere in this country, there has to be many people with intelligence and fortitude. They don't have to, only, come from the ranks of the ultra rich. Let the search begin!! If we intend to remain a group for the betterment of all Americans, we need many better leaders. The alternative is the hand-basket of those in power today and they believe in ruling even in HELL.
