AnyBody but Roemer?

I thought each of the others had promise. Of course I'm a Dean fan, but I've spent most of my time AGAINST him running for DNC chair, simply because I thought they'd find a way to bury him if he got that post. However, I think he's adamant that he won't run in 2008 IF the Democratic Party doesn't get fixed and I can't say I blame him. In fact, he got a round of applause on that line, so I am not alone in my feelings about that.

15. The only ones I would rebel against would be Roemer and Rosenberg

neither of whom seemed to have anything of interest to add to the debate. Roemer sounded exactly like a Republican whenever he opened his mouth. I don't think Democrats are going to be energized by the message "We are the party of national defense."

they seem kind of sketchy. I'd trust them as far as I can throw them.

I've heard good things about Fowler, Webb, Frost, and the others but I'm a strong supporter of Howard Dean because he has the ideas, experience, popular support, AND BACKBONE!!!

8. This past weekend, the Southern Caucus

hosted the candidates for a round of interviews.
Everytime Dean showed up, people were wondering if Mick Jagger has arrived because people were yelling and cheering just like a rock star had arrived.

Dean should be the only choice. He has a backbone. He can inspire the grassroots and he can raise the money. Just my 2 cents here...

Seeing as how Dean hasn't officially said one way or the other if he's running for DNC chair, and also how it's inevitable that any poll with him on DU will win, I wonder if we could do a poll among declared candidates only.

I wonder how many DUers have actually heard the other candidates speak on their visions for the party?

I was there too and feel more than qualified to have an opinion on this. And I also saw Governor Dean Friday at our event for him at Georgia for Democracy's headquarters. He will be formally announcing or passing sometime this week. That's all we know now.
