The best part of the Republicans being in power is this.
Although they feel greatly empowered by Revenge of the Nerds'04, they will soon begin imploding. Three factors are going to begin the
process of them eating each other alive.

1) IRAQ! IRAQ! IRAQ!

2) Social Security "reform".

3) Immigration issues.

1. plz explain
"Revenge of the Nerds 04"?

I always kinda thought we Dems were the Nerds, and the Repubs were the Alphas.

The nerds are the squares, and the squares are the Radical Right.

5. No he was a nerd
at least that's the way I've seen him described from classmates in past interviews and of course Molly Ivens...he was very insecure, that's probably why he started drinking and being a bully...

Richard Perle was a big nerd too, I was listening to a radio interview with someone that went to school with him and she said he used to go home crying to his Mom all the time...

Look at them, Sanatorium, Hastert, Feeny all nerds, that is why they are so starstruck and bring in stars to run for office, like Schwarzenegger.

6. Yes, BUT the nerds in Revenge of the Nerds were different in a couple
of important respects. They were nice, and they were smart, and they were also lacking in political power. It's been a long time since I saw the movie, so I could be mistaken, but I always thought the Alphas were a bunch of insecure, pampered assholes. That, to me, screams "Dubya." ;)

9. You're right
When viewed in the light of the movie. But in real life, I don't believe * had many friends, unless they could use him to get ahead. None have stepped forward anyway...unless you count Ken Lay...

10. I wasn't talking about the lovable geeks in the movie.
I'm talking about the assorted nerds, dorks, geeks and dweebs that make up the Radical Right.
It's simple: we're cool, the right is square.

3. I prefer "Revenge of the Sith."
But anyway, you're probably right. And there are other issues, too, like deficit spending and so on.

If Kerry was President when Iraq implodes (which it surely will), you can bet the Republicans would forever say, "The Democrats lost Iraq." Maybe we're better off that Bush won -- he made the mess, now he can take all the blame.

13. You're right
especially about the immigration issues. That is already causing a lot of anger among the suckers that voted for Bush. I hope the split comes soon.
