So now it turns out that Chertoff lied to Congress about the John Lynde case- obviously an underachiever compared to Kerik. Only one crime? No wonder he was passed over.

Of course "loyalty" is paramount to improving your position with this crowd ("loyalty" means blind obedience and butt kissing) so Chertoff sucked at that too worse than Kerik?
